Deborah is one of the Partners at OH Parsons specialising in Industrial Disease Litigation.
Deborah specialises in pursuing compensation claims on behalf of workers and their families who have suffered ill health after working with asbestos. Deborah therefore has experience dealing with claims for mesothelioma, lung cancer, asbestosis and pleural thickening. She has acted for workers and their families across a wide range of industries including the building trade, power stations, heavy industry and schools.
Deborah works closely with Asbestos Support Groups covering Central England, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Burton and Trent and Lincolnshire and also acts for Unite members and private clients nationally.
Deborah is also a member of the Haldane Society of Socialist Lawyers, Unite the Union, the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and the Labour party.
Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Deborah worked in a factory and a distribution warehouse. From the age of 18 she represented trade union members in her roles of workplace convenor and Branch Secretary until returning to full time education to study Labour Studies at Ruskin College. She then went on to study law and qualified as a solicitor in 2000.

Simon is an Associate in the Industrial Disease Department at OH Parsons. He has specialised in this area of law since 1997. He has extensive experience in all types of disease litigation but for about the last 10 years has concentrated upon Asbestos related disease claims. He regularly acts for Claimants in claims for Compensation for Lung Cancer, Asbestosis, Pleural Thickening and Symptomatic Pleural Plaques. Simon goes out of his way to ensure his clients are supported through the legal process.
Away from work Simon is married with a daughter and is a rugby union fanatic following the Newcastle Falcons.

Aston is a solicitor within the Industrial Disease Department at OH Parsons.
He acts exclusively for claimants and their families who have suffered illness or disease as a result of their work since qualifying in 2013.
Aston has extensive experience in advising and representing clients with asbestos related illnesses and an excellent reputation for achieving substantial settlements for his clients.
Aston acts for private clients nationally. He also gives training on asbestos and other disease claims.
In his spare time Aston enjoys walking his dog, riding his motorcycle and writing.

Bushra is a solicitor within the Industrial Disease Department at OH Parsons.
She represents workers and their families following exposure to asbestos in the workplace. She has acted for clients across a wide range of industries including construction workers, factory workers, dockers, shipyard workers, electricians, plumbers, pipe fitters, heating engineers, power station workers.
She attended Sunderland University and then undertook the Legal Practice Course at Manchester Metropolitan University. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2013.
